Ari is one of my closest friends. She joined me and my sister on a holiday trip to Istria, Croatia for two weeks. Surrounded by the stunning Istrian landscape, bathed in warm yellow and green hues, the setting mirrored Ariane's own warm and calm nature. As we sought refuge in the cool shadows of ancient oak trees and climbed over rocks and cliffs, I had the chance to capture a series of beautiful portraits that brought these two beautifully matching characters together.
